Bridgewater, New Jersey – June 14, 2013 – We are pleased to announce that Maja Drenovac, PharmD, Director, Educational Programs of Vemco MedEd, LLC, earned the National Commission for Certification of CME (NC-CME) Professionals designation as a Certified CME Professional (CCMEP™). CCMEP™ is the only credential that designates qualified individuals as Certified CME Professionals.
The National Commission for Certification of CME Professionals, Inc. (NC-CME) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by an independent group of peers within the CME community for the purpose of establishing a definitive certification program for CME Professionals. NC-CME certification program was created and launched in 2008 as a means to verify knowledge and skills of CME staff and providers, as well as, to raise the bar in CME. The NC-CME examination enables CME providers to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in principles of adult learning and professional development, framing clinical content for maximum impact, and interpreting rules and regulations that define the field of CME.
“I am very proud to earn the CCMEP designation and to be part of the CME community. As our field is continuously changing and evolving, it is imperative to stay up to date with the rules and regulations. At Vemco, we strongly support the efforts of the CME community to create a system that insists on established standards of professionalism and raises the bar in CME." said Maja Drenovac, Director, Educational Programs. |
